Wayland is a small, peaceful community in Greater Boston. Starting a podcast in this town, and
especially talking only about women, sounded counterintuitive to many. Based on
demographics, we may not be a diverse town. However, the stories of our women paint a different
picture. Even in a small town, an individual can effect positive change that can impact the world.
We want to celebrate them!

I am Yamini.
Hi! I am Yamini Ranjan, the host & creator of this podcast. I started this podcast from my basement studio, which was also my laundry room! I decided to create this podcast because I was inspired by my next-door women, who were professionals, mums, activists, volunteers, do-it-all hustlers in the true sense. I felt a there was a massive acknowledgement gap. There were stories that you would miss if you blinked too fast, but if you give them just a moment, it could leave you inspired.
